They are a distraction for little minded people while the technological world-system continues to progress unimpeded towards the goal of complete and utter domestication of humans into nothing more than metaphorical sheeps. It could also be said that if the technological world-system is allowed to reach its logical conclusion then it will in all probability leave the Earth uninhabitable for all complex forms of life.

/mu/ pls
I want to try to limit the number of legacy boards I have on the site, especially since people could make the argument "why use 314chan if 4chan had the same board?" I'd miss than likely do a spin on the board, like music creation. However, I'm still open to opinions on this.

>"why use 314chan if 4chan had the same board?"
same can be asked for any altchan, the answer is that 4chan sucks ass :^)
you could make a board for creating art in general and if it picks up enough speed and demand for segregation you can split it into ~/i/ and ~/mu/ and more.
>>33
Music Creation sounds like a fun board.

i think there is a bug with making a thread both anchored and cyclic that immediately deletes any new replies. anyway there is something going on with cloudflare probably that is making it so that some thread replies are only visible through the overboard catalog and nowhere else.
Weird. It's showing up in the global posts view/in the mod index as well. I'll report both.
Replies: >>39

i can only see this thread and your reply in overboard catalog, i'm replying to you right now on the thread page and i can't see your reply, just the OP. wtf is going on? did you break jschan parley?

jschan automatically enables captcha on a post per hour basis. If it goes above the number, captchas are enabled.

What the hell is with that advert bot? The last time I saw anything like that was when I installed a browser extension that included some malware to change random words on pages into hyperlinks to online merchants. Where did this thing come from?
yeah, best thing everyone can do is report it. I'm at work for 8 hours a day. that's the only posts I've deleted since the site relaunched with jschan

Ok look it's not my fault I was a kid when I started my site kek. At the time, I think my logic was that it was moot because he wasn't doing anything to push 4chan forward.
But don't quote me on that.

how easy was it to start the site back then? did you always use cloudflare?

>how easy was it to start the site back then?

well back in the day it was pretty easy to pick software it was either pick a "chan in a box" (Kusaba X was the only feasible option back then) or manage every board like 3chan currently does, where every board is a separate mod interface (a la Futabally)

anyways long story short it was kinda easy. difficult to find hosting as a kid.

>did you always use cloudflare?

we just recently swapped to it. originally [like 2-3 years now], we were on Bitmitigate. Only reason why we're on those types of platform is souly for application security and speed. I'll be working on other means of accessing the site. Fortunately, Cloudflare has gotten better privacy wise in terms of [allegedly] deprecating cfduid since the 10th of last month (flush those cookies now!)

sorry for the rambling, lmao just not much to do and it's good to just chill

Have you guys heard of the dead internet theory? It has basically been going around on several other chans that basically since the time when almost all main websites and search engines are down to a few, that these mega corporations made AI. Large proportions of the supposedly human-produced content on the internet are actually generated by artificial intelligence networks in conjunction with paid secret media influencers in order to manufacture consumers for an increasing range of newly-normalised cultural products.
